DENVER, Colo (April 19, 2012) - Founded in 2009 by Ean Seeb and Kayvan S.T. Khalatbari the Denver Relief GREEN TEAM is a volunteer organization dedicated to improving the perception of the medical cannabis industry through community service. Through community outreach efforts such as litter cleanups, free bicycle and wheelchair repair clinics and the on-going food and clothing drives the GREEN TEAM has been recognized by The Christian Science Monitor, Denver Daily News, Westword, MMJ Business Daily and The Boulder Daily Camera among others for demonstrating that medical cannabis businesses and patients are positive contributors to Denver.

This year Cannabis Business Alliance founding member Natural Remedies is joining the GREEN TEAM for the 4/20 litter cleanup crew. Natural Remedies owner Andrew Boyens stated: "As a founding member of the Cannabis Business Alliance, Natural Remedies is happy to work in conjunction with Denver Relief, a fellow member of the Alliance. Supporting the GREEN TEAM and giving back to the community is simply the right thing to do". Other partners in this year's day of community action include Kush Magazine, Illuzion Glass Galleries, the premier glass shop in Denver and MMC Depot, the premier packaging supplier to the MMJ industry in Colorado who is providing gloves and "green" bio-degradable trash bags for the cleanup.

Seeb and Khalatbari are members of several community and civil rights organizations including Denver Kids, The Anti-Defamation League, The Denver Center Theater Company, Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado, E-3 Events, and the Cannabis Business Alliance. This commitment to service and philanthropy is a year long effort supported impart by through their Medical Marijuana Center Denver Relief. The GREEN TEAM donates to different local charities each month through a giveaway in association with Illuzion Glass. In regard to the 4/20 Cleanup "This may be a holiday for some, but for us it's just another day in the battle to shed the negative connotations associated with marijuana use. The people of Colorado get it but today Denver is under the watchful eye of the entire world" Seeb said.

The success of the 4/20 Cleanup is a result of the efforts of dedicated volunteers. If you would like to participate please see the below schedule:
