Who We Are

The Cannabis Business Alliance is the chamber of commerce for the cannabis industry. We are an advocate and a resource for small business owners, employees, and patients of the medical marijuana industry. We strive to be a resource for the emerging medical marijuana industry, to enhance the economy, to create respect for the industry in communities, and to support patient access and safety.

We are building an alliance of Medical Marijuana Center Owners, Medical Marijuana Infused Product Manufacturers, Doctors, Patient Advocates, Lawyers, and ancillary business owners. Just like any trade association, we are here to help you develop and strengthen your business. Consultant to the CBA – Matt Cook
Matt Cook, former head of the Medical Marijuana Enforcement Division of the Colorado Department of Revenue, is working with the Cannabis Business Alliance to advise them on industry best practices and develop a Responsible Vendor Program. This program and training, similar to successful ones developed for alcohol, will assist members to run their businesses effectively and in compliance with state law.

Bob Hoban is a managing partner at Hoban and Feola and Board Chair for the Cannabis Business Alliance. Mr. Hoban is a foremost expert on Colorado’s medical marijuana laws. He regularly advises businesses in this field and has litigated every aspect of Colorado’s medical marijuana related law.
